Your privacy, in plain words.
What this website collects, why, who else handles it, and how to have it removed. Short enough to actually read.
Last updated
HisaabFlow is built and run by one person, Rizwan. This page says what this website does with information about you. It covers the website only. The app is not open yet, and the last part of this page says what happens before it is.
The short version: the site keeps your email address if you join the waitlist, and it counts visits. It does not sell or rent anything about you, and it shows no adverts.
What the site collects
If you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- The page you signed up on, and when.
- Whether the thank-you email was sent, and whether you have unsubscribed.
If you only visit
- Which pages were opened, roughly where in the world from, and on what kind of device. Google Analytics counts this.
- Three things you might do: join the waitlist, press a "Get early access" button, or send a message in a demo chat. Only the fact that it happened is counted. Your address and what you typed are not sent to Google.
- The address your connection comes from, its IP address. Every website's host sees this. Ours is Cloudflare.
If you use the waitlist's chat screen
That is the screen the thank-you email links to. When you send it a message, our own code reads the amount and the kind of expense. To write the Guru's reply, an AI model is then given the kind of expense, a few words of what it was for, whether it was small or large, and the Guru's own last few lines. It is not given the amount, your email address or anything else about you. HisaabFlow does not store those messages.
What it does not collect
No bank details, no card numbers, no passwords and no phone number. The site does not ask for them anywhere.
The receipt at the foot of each page, with your time here and your clicks, is counted in your browser for that visit. It is never sent anywhere.
Why it is collected
- Your email address: to send one email saying you are on the list, and one when HisaabFlow opens.
- Visit counts: to see which pages are read, and whether the site is doing its job.
- Your connection's address: to stop programs flooding the sign-up form. Sign-ups from one connection are counted for an hour, and then the count is gone.
- The check that you are a person: the sign-up form asks Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs only when you use the form.
Who else handles it
A few companies help run the site. Each is given only what its job needs.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, checks that sign-ups are made by people, and forwards email sent to us.
- Supabase stores the waitlist.
- Resend delivers the emails.
- Google, through Analytics and Tag Manager, counts visits.
- DeepSeek writes the Guru's replies on the waitlist's chat screen, from the few words described above.
Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend and Google are based in the United States, and DeepSeek in China. So your information may be handled outside your own country.
Cookies, and what is kept in your browser
- Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from the next. They last up to two years.
- If you open the waitlist's chat screen from your email, one cookie remembers that you are on the list, for thirty days.
- Your choice of cursor is remembered in your browser. The visit receipt is kept only until you close the tab.
To stop the counting, block cookies for this site in your browser, or use Google's own opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.
How long it is kept
- Your address stays on the waitlist until you ask for it to be removed.
- Unsubscribing stops the emails at once. The address is kept, marked as unsubscribed, so that it is not written to again by mistake. To have it removed altogether, ask.
- Google Analytics keeps visit data for the period set in its own retention settings, with no name or address attached.
Your choices
- Leave the waitlist: every email has an unsubscribe link.
- See or delete what is held about you: write to [email protected] from the address in question. It is done within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
- More, where the law gives it: depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your information. Ask, and they will be honoured.
Children
HisaabFlow is for adults who manage their own money. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and they should not join the waitlist.
When the app opens
The app will hold more than an email address: the expenses you log and, in a Room, who paid whom. Before it takes anyone's data, this page will be rewritten to say exactly what is stored, where, and for how long.
Four things are already decided, and will not change:
- It never asks for a bank login and never moves money.
- A Room sees what was added to that Room. It never sees your personal spending or what you earn.
- An AI reads your message. Every total, split and balance is worked out by ordinary code.
- Nobody else can open your account's entries, including other people in your Rooms.
