Text it. It is logged.

Your own spending needs no app. Send what it was and what it cost on WhatsApp, and the Guru logs it and tells you what is left.

The Guru Try it here

chai 200

Logged. Rs 200, Food. That is chai number four today. I am not judging. I am counting.

biryani 850

Logged. Rs 850, Food. You have Rs 4,570 left and 8 days to payday. That is about Rs 571 a day. The biryani knew.

A demo. Nothing you type is saved, and it cannot see your money.

Say it how you would say it.

There is no format to learn. It reads the amount, works out what it was, and picks the category for you.

For now: one expense per message, dated today, in whole rupees. It reads text, not photos or voice notes.

  • Two words is enough.

    chai 200

Add or fix one

It replies. It has opinions.

The Guru is who answers when you text. Its face is never random: every mood is earned by something that happened to your money. Pick one.

  • It roasts the spending. Never the person.Who you are, what you earn, being ill, debt that is weighing on you: it leaves all of that alone.
  • A warning is said straight. When the money will not last until payday it tells you plainly, with the number to aim for. No punchline.

Nothing is happening. This is where it always comes back to.

Small print, in large print.

  • Payday to payday.Tell it your salary and the day it arrives. Everything is counted from one payday to the next, not by the calendar month.
  • Counted by code.Reading your message is the only part a language model does. Every total and every limit is ordinary arithmetic.
  • It sees what you text it.Nothing else. No bank login, no reading your messages, no card on file.
  • Free, and it stays free.Logging your own spending on WhatsApp costs nothing. Only a Room is paid for, and only by the person who starts it.

Before you ask.

Do I need to install the app?

Not to log. Logging is a WhatsApp message. The app is where you see what is left, where it went, and fix an entry.

Is "left to spend" after my bills?

It is your salary less everything you have logged since payday. A bill you have not logged yet is still inside the number, so log rent the day you pay it.

What if it files something wrong?

The reply says what it logged and under which category. If that is wrong, open the entry in the app and change it.

Is the Guru an AI?

Partly. A language model reads what you typed. The numbers are not its job: every amount and balance comes from ordinary code, and what the Guru says about them is held to its rules.

Can I send a photo of a receipt?

Not yet. It reads text only for now, and it says so if you send anything else.

Can I log a shared bill this way?

No. WhatsApp is for your own spending. Anything you split with other people goes in a Room, in the app.
